Rewind
An interactive audio installation in collaboration with Alexandru Berceanu, part of the White Imprint Exhibition.
In a striking resolution in 2022, the Supreme Court decision in Roe vs. Wade was overruled, reopening the possibility for states to prosecute medical personnel for performing abortion procedures.
In Rewind, a bot reads fragments of the 1973 Supreme Court decision, gradually fading into the 2022 ruling. Two tape recorders loop the recordings, continuously transferring and degrading the message.
The installation is triggered by a proximity sensor. Click here for video
