Solara Main

During the Fusion Air Residency, I worked with two scientists from the Institute for Space Science, Maximilian Teodorescu and Marius Echim. Together, we built an interactive installation called Solara, which looks at the mixed relationship we have with the sun. I used Grasshopper and Rhino to design the voronoi structure of the installation, and Max MSP to create two sound pieces. Visitors explored the installation with a custom EMF microphone, scanning its surface to find "black spots" that revealed the dual nature of the sun — both life-giving and destructive.
