Participants built DIY microphones together with preamps and explored recording techniques, later composing textures and rhythms in Ableton Live.

A hands-on workshop where participants soldered and assembled electromagnetic microphones, then used them to capture electromagnetic rhythms in the gallery space.
This workshop later evolved into a series across Romania, where participants from different cities learned how to build microphones and explore local soundscapes.
Year: 2024 – Bucharest, Arad, Resita, Brasov
We explored the urban environment with microphones, creating a sonic map of the city and later transformed the sounds into a collaborative composition.
Year: 2023 – NOVA Festival, Bucharest
The pilot musique concrète workshop, where participants learned the foundation elements of experimental music and built their first contact microphone, later creating a collaborative composition in Ableton Live.
